WHAT WE’RE ALL ABOUT
We don't promise to be the cheapest, we do quality work at competitive prices. Quality comes as a standard not an extra, we believe in minimizing wastefulness and do not replace anything unless we need to. We turn around your bike as fast as possible as it's in our best interest to get you back on your bike!
HOW DO I BOOK MY BIKE IN?
No need to book in advance, we use a rolling waiting list - the next job in goes to the end of the list and depending on how busy we are will depend of turn around times. Pop the bike(s) in and I will have a discussion with you while checking the bike over, I can then see what would be the best way to proceed and give you a few options.
WHAT DO I NEED WITH ME?
Depends on what work you require - I don't require payment until collection, when checking a bike in I take a contact name, number, first line of address, postcode and date of check-in. You are also welcome to source any parts yourself and bring them in so have those handy.
DO I NEED TO PREPARE THE BIKE BEFOREHAND?
Bikes must be reasonably clean before they come in, if they're booked in for services then they will be washed anyway but additional charges might be added if the gears in particular are caked in grime. Bikes in for checkovers or any other repair work will be washed if necessary and will be charged for.
COULD YOU REPAIR 'X' WHILE I WAIT?
Small jobs such as punctures and brake pad replacements can often be done while you wait but not always. Almost every other job will have to be left me as every 15 minute job is 1 broken bolt away for a 5 hour nightmare!
'X' CAN DO THE WORK FASTER/CHEAPER, CAN YOU MATCH THAT?
Most of the time no, we try our best to get your bike back to you ASAP but are often governed by delivery times. With regards to cost - I do not promise to be the cheapest but I do believe in quality work, you are welcome to try elsewhere to see the difference.
MY BIKE ISN'T READY BY THE DATE YOU GAVE ME/THE TOTAL BILL HAS COME TO MORE THAN YOU TOLD ME?
With the nature of the rolling waiting list if one job takes longer than expected (Or a customer adds something else they want done) it will push all of the other jobs behind it back, and this happens very often! The dates I give are only ever estimates - if you need the bike back by a specific date please let me know and I can try my best however it doesn't always go to plan. I can estimate how much a job may cost however when I have the assembly apart it may be a completely different story, I will almost always contact you in this case unless previously discussed.
